 What do you call a DJ, producer, songwriter and artist? Busy - but he prefers Kosign! This self proclaimed “DJ Gone Wild”, has the term triple threat exhausted. “Kosign is a statement and Bottom Boi is the movement!” says Kosign, co-founder of Bottom Boi Production LLC. Kosign and childhood friend DJ Kay-Lee started the company in 2006 and began promoting parties making noise in the 850 & 229 areas with house parties and local clubs gigs. Kosign describes the group’s evolution like this: “Since before high school we’ve been apart of the music world. We grew up in an environment where mixers, turntables, keyboards were always around. Both of our families’ contain numerous disc jockeys and producers. “The term Bottom Boi pays homage to the South is a phrase that we embraced because we are literality on the bottom of the map.” From a business prospective, we decided that full ownership was the only way to go, so we own the company, the name Bottom Boi and have trademarked the logo.”

This Tallahassee born, Havana raised Floridian promoted and hosted his first party in the 11th grade with his friends. I listen to my pops old material that influenced me. “Frustration energy, manic crunk are some of the words Kosign utter when asked to describe his music.

“Music is so powerful! Through music, you can stand on the highest peak of the world and tell the whole globe how you feel. I am a DJ first but I don’t want to limit my creativity and be described as just a DJ. . Since I am involved in every aspect of the music, each song is uniquely Kosign and totally Bottom Boi. I like the up front action of hosting parties the energy is just amazing.”

A “DJ GONE WILD” mixtape is in the works and will be released as the first project of Bottom Boi Production. “DJ GONE WILD is an excuse for me to do whatever I want.
